Wonderful Summer!!!
It is summer again, how do I know? My grandchildren are
out of school, and It is time for the trips we all look forward
to every year. You know the "Vacation." The week
where all things will be perfect. I have already had my
first weeks vacation, This was a visit to Sea World, you
know one of those places with steaming concrete and masses
of people trying to do all the events in their allotted
time. What? You ask could entice a person who has been
there 4 times already to do this again. What else, the
look of joy and complete amazement on the faces of the
children and even the parents who have not been there.
To witness the joy and excitement of a new life experience
by those you love. But I must share with you, for me personally
the highpoint of the day was being splashed and completely
soaked by Shamu, I was cool for about two minutes.
We all put ourselves in not so comfortable situations for
those we love, especially our children and grandchildren. Their
well-being is always our concern. We seek to be a light in
their lives. Bringing to them joy and happiness. An example
of Love, helping them to expand their minds and hearts to the
awareness of the ever presence of God's light.
Are you aware of God's light in your life? Can you feel its
power calming you, healing you, inspiring you? We must seek,
recognize and expand our awareness of God's Light, this will
enable us to be a living example to others.
You can expand your awareness of God's light through prayer.
Prayer helps you become more spiritually enlivened , more focused
upon the light of God. As you sit quietly in prayer, feel the
power of God's glorious light and begin to experience a deeper
spiritual awareness. Each time you pray, your faith in the
Light of God will increase until you know without a doubt that
you have its fullest measure.
I enjoy recalling the summers in Alaska, it was wonderful
to walk from my home to the waters edge of KniK Arm. To
look out over the snow covered peaks, watch the Beluga Whales
as they rose out of the water in a seemingly attempt to touch
the sky. It was here in prayer, I know I truly saw and
experienced the light of God, in me and around me. But! now
I am grateful to say, wherever I am, in prayer I can know
this same feeling this wonderful experience—God.
Do you need healing right now? Do you need a vacation from
the circumstances, challenges of each day? Remember that the
healing light of God is powerfully at work within you. Go into
prayer or meditation. Rest in the awareness of the light strengthening,
bringing peace and calming the inharmony of your world. As
you rest in this place of solitude and Love. Know you can now
move forward on your spiritual path and be the example of Love
for your children and Grandchildren and the world you were
created to be.
I am here to tell you this is possible, even at Sea World
in 98 degree weather.
May your summer be filled with all the love, joy and abundance,
that is God's Light in its fullest measure shining through
you.
