Greetings!
As I sat down to write this, I was reflecting
back on the past two years. Yes! It has been that long. The
first time I spoke to Unity of Garland, was June 6, 2003. I
remember as I left that day, recalling something I had read.
Faith has been called "The bird that feels
the light and sings when the dawn is still dark." This
has to be the overcoming faith Jesus taught. Have you ever
felt the need for this kind of faith — faith to help
you meet the challenges and believe in the possibilities
of life? Have you just chosen to be daring in faith? I
knew that this part of my journey, which was to bring me
to this day, was going to be faith filled. It was surely
feeling the light before it dawned. Each of us has been
endowed by God with the gift of faith. When we develop
and exercise this gift, We are trusting God for life, strength,
wisdom, joy and abundance. Using this in our daily practice,
we can discover the unlimited bounty of God, the unlimited
bounty that always exceeds whatever we think of as our
hearts' desire. I thought my hearts' desire was to be a
Minister. Not only was this fulfilled, but I received so
much more. As each month passes, the next seems to be filled
with more wonder. Each time I open the door and step inside
UNITY OF SACHSE, I feel and believe that faith is truly
the inner knowing that all we seek is ours. Each time I
greet a visitor, I am saying Thank You Precious Spirit for this
opportunity to share the gift of you.
Yes, we all have enough faith to call forth God's
gift of light and let it guide us, To call forth God's gift
of life and to let it restore us. To have enough faith to call
forth God's gift of substance, which prospers us abundantly.
Be daring in faith, dear friends, and your faith will take
you much further than you can see.
Be daring in faith, and let your heart sing,
even when the dawn is still dark.
I invite all to join us each Sunday as we worship
and give praise for the many blessings we have received, and
to be daring in the unshakable faith which assures us of the
blessings to come.
With Love and Light,
Rev. Paulette
