From My Heart to Yours
Faith has been called "the bird that feels the light
and sings when the dawn is still dark." This is the
Faith that Jesus taught. Last year at this time we had been
in our new Church home for only a month. That was exciting,
We are now in the planning stage for our new educational
building. WOW! this too is a most exciting time. This very
week I have had numerous e-mails and calls in reference to
our Church and youth program. Yes, I am once again reminded
of the power of Faith. I found myself telling someone very
recently my very favorite scripture is Matthew 19:26 With
God all things are possible. For
me this Church and the giant leaps we are taking is the
beautiful result of Faith. Our new educational building and
the children are possible with God. "Be Daring in Faith." I
read that somewhere, sure works for me.
Everyone of us has been endowed by God with the gift of
Faith. In the development and exercise of this gift, we
learn to trust God for life, wisdom, strength and abundance.
Each day we can discover anew the unlimited bounty that always
surpasses our greatest expectations.
Faith is the assurance of things hoped
for, the conviction of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
Each day become centered in God's presence and allow your
Faith to draw you nearer to the awareness of the enduring
good that is God's will for you.
So, as
you embark upon your endeavors for the month ahead. "Be
Daring in Faith.," Let Faith call forth God's gift
of light and let it guide you. Recognize the presence of
God ever present within.
Be daring in faith,
dear friends, and your faith will take you much further
than you can see. Let your faith sing, even when "The Dawn
is still dark."
Jesus
did not claim that his faith was unique, but often said
that anything is possible to those who even have a grain
of faith. Through the parables, He taught us the power of
faith to heal both mind and body. To improve any condition,
to supply us with the necessities of life, to clarify our
lives, and to assure us of God's eternal love and care.
God has already provided for us in so many ways, let us
continue to be daring in faith. And give thanks each day.
I would like to invite all to join us as we worship and
give thanks with faith that opens channels through which
God's blessings flow in to our lives.
God Bless,
Rev. Paulette
