With God all things are possible. (Matthhew
19:26)
There has been so many times during the last
month when these words were the only way to express my feelings.
Yes, dear friends, God's hand has guided each of us as we embarked
on the wonderful undertaking of building our new Church home.
Let us shout with Joy, It is done! We will be officially moving March
30th, and our first worship service will be April 3rd.
Wow! what a time for all this to transpire,
the Easter Season. The time of great change, the awakening
and raising of our Spiritual Consciousness, Our Resurrecting
Spirit that enables us to begin anew, to overcome limitations,
to change our thinking and our lives.Yes! We here at Unity
Church of Sachse (Formerly, Unity of Sachse) have given example
to how Faith, Hope and Trust in the Resurrecting Spirit of
God within gives possibility to all things.
Resurrection is not a word that we usually think
of or use in relation to our personal lives, as something we
have experienced and are experiencing now. But we have all
experienced resurrection and are experiencing it now. We have
all known a time when our hopes and dreams seemed shattered,
have had the courage and faith to pick up the pieces, to make
a new start, a new beginning, allowing the energy and life
of the Christ to impel us forward, That is resurrection!
Every time we gain dominion and mastery over
negative thoughts and feelings, every time we prove that we
are not at the mercy of our moods, That we are stronger than
any limiting thought or habit, that is resurrection--- a resurrection
into the perfect freedom of Spirit which is ours as a child
of God.
We enter into the living consciousness of Jesus
Christ as we incorporate His words and teachings into our
consciousness. At Easter time it is good to think especially
of Jesus' words, "I
am the resurrection and the life" (Jn. 11:25), to
affirm these words, to follow Jesus in this marvelous affirmation
of life.
What are we saying when we say, "I am the
resurrection and the life"? We are identifying with
the lifting power of the Christ, with the eternal life
of the Christ. How many times have you thought; Some day
I will be resurrected, Some day I will have eternal life.
But to follow Jesus is to affirm: I am the resurrection
and the life. This is an affirmation of life, not of the
future but of the here and now.
Yes! we here at Unity Church of Sachse, have
released our old and with open arms and heart embraced our
gifts. Our Prayers have been prayers of Thankfulness, for the
beautiful center of Christ light we are. That we now take to
our new community, and to our new Church.
I ask you as you read the following to take
this idea deep within your heart. I acknowledge that
there is a presence and power beyond my understanding, ready
to work through me as I let go. I know that of myself I can
do nothing, but with God all things are possible. I let go
and let God handle all.
I would like to invite all to join us in worship,
as we give thanks and praise and move forward on our journey
to enlightenment. Remember our first worship service is April
3, 2005. The place is Unity Church of Sachse. We Invite
you to Come and Grow with Us. We teach Practical
Christianity, based on the teachings of Jesus.
Blessings,
Rev. Paulette
