GREETINGS!
WELCOME TO A NEW YEAR OF POSSIBILITIES! |
 |
And
the Word became Flesh and dwelt amongst us. John 1:14
I would like to begin
with a heartfelt Thank
You, to each of the wonderful
people that make up the congregation of Unity
of Sachse. The past year has been a beautiful
example of giving, growing and accomplishment.
We have completed our expansion for the children,
who have joyfully grown in number. We have been
joined by many new members and said farewell to
some for different reasons. Whatever the reason,
they are missed. When I meditate on and again
experience the events of the past year, it becomes
very apparent. We are Blessed!!
If you are like me, you may find that the more
you awaken to the beauty of God's Spirit expressed
within everything, you begin to experience your
world and the events of your life with new awareness.
You begin to feel God's presence in the kiss of
a gentle breeze on your face, the warmth of the
sun, the fragrances of the earth after a rain.
The laughter of children, or the gentle hug of
a friend. All this and more we may encounter with
recognition of God as our creator and never faltering
companion. Yes, God is always with us, wherever
we are, whatever we are doing. What this means
is that you can count on God to be your constant.
Your constant source of everything you need to
live a happy, fulfilling life in the New Year
and always.
With God all things
are possible. (Matthew
19:26). Let us keep these words of Jesus tucked
away in our hearts as we seek a greater awareness
of God's presence in the joys and challenges of
2008. There are regrettable events in life for
each of us. It is when these arise we must recognize
and acknowledge, We each have an infinite range
of possibilities, deep within each of us lies
the God given potential for perfection. When you
think of yourself, do you think of a person with
this potential? Is the person you visualize self-assured,
capable and positive? This is what God sees. If
you will keep in mind these words from a popular
Unity prayer The Prayer
of Faith:
All things I am, can do, and be
Through Christ, the Truth that is in me.
There is Truth in you — the truth of what
God sees. This year I invite you to join me and
the congregation of Unity of Sachse, as we worship
together and allow ourselves to become better
acquainted with our Spiritual nature and to see
ourselves through the eyes of God. To become more
aware of the Christ Spirit within as we discover
a new strength of purpose, untapped ability, and
true potential. This we seek through prayer and
meditation, it is hear we will truly receive our
gifts from God. Yes! I invite you to open your
mind to the possibilities that life holds for
you . Lift your head high and let the Spirit of
God within you soar to new heights as you Give
Thanks each day. This experience is nothing short
of astonishing.
Blessings,
