A New Year — Renewed Hope!

Happy New Opportunity! This is one of the ways I view the New Year, a chance to let go of the challenges of the past and begin anew with an opportunity for growth, wisdom, healing and renewed hope. To begin working toward the goals and changes we have given ourselves. To reevaluate and improve our choices. All of this is yours by Faith.

This is the message of Jesus; that you might know it is your birthright to have life, not meagerly but abundantly; healing, not occasionally but continuously; supply, not just adequately but bountifully. You can expect the best to come to you. This is the essence of the teachings of Jesus. He constantly taught His followers to expect good, whether it concerned the mind or the emotions, the physical being or the human environment.

Writing this brings to mind the scripture, "Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (Mark 11:24). When it seems there are not enough hours in the day for the worldly demands upon you, stop for a moment, in silent prayer, it is here you will open channels through which God's blessings will flow into your life. As you begin to do this and to expect the blessings you will also begin to recognize the many times with your heart and mind open you are free to experience the opportunities that come your way.

Jesus' mind and heart were continuously attuned to God. If Jesus had accepted the limitations presented to him. He would not have overcome the challenges and left us the example we can follow. When we follow His example, we will know that the goodness of God is available to us continuously. God is our source.

This scripture (Hebrews 11:1 ) "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" Tells us we must have Faith, for truly Hope is something we cannot see. But, as a beloved child of God we have within us the assurance of all we hope for because faith is an inherent part of our being. Each day as you pray and hold to your faith, give thanks and believe that even in the moment you are receiving. Yes, the goodness of God will lead you to a new understanding of the potential that we each have within us. God's goodness will transform every fear into faith, each doubt into peace and courage. The goodness of God will lift every burden and reveal the wondrous truth that good is waiting for you. Wow! I am looking forward to living this new year, I choose to believe and expect, to fulfill my possibilities and give thanks for them now. You may choose the same. As you rely on God as your true source, you will find strength and energy and you will be renewed in mind and body. You will know you are divinely guided and you will have a year filled with a new sense of contentment and satisfaction.

Myself and all who attend Unity Church of Sachse invite you to begin a New Year with a visit to our church, as we explore the depths of our faith and grow together in the awareness of God's all-providing Love.

We have an exciting year ahead, last year we built our Church Home and have grown in number. This year we will build our education building and grow our youth in number. God is our source and the year of opportunity is now. Join us, be a part of God's goodness in action.

Blessings,
Rev. Paulette

But Jesus beheld them and said unto them, with men this is impossible;
but with God all things are possible.
